Before I went Dr. Nolt, I had emailed his office and received a quote, which was verified by another email. When I went to the optometrist I was told that the price for new contacts was twice what I was quoted. I should have walked out right then but he had already done some work. A few weeks later I phoned a dentist for dental care was given a quote. When I went to his office, again the cost I was given was higher. But in this case he “checked his prices” and agreed the cost given over the phone was correct. I wonder how many other “professionals” are doing this. Dr. Nolt worked very quickly, too quickly. It was flip, flip, flip of different lenses and he was gone even when there was no one else in the office. Worse, he had put some stuff on my contacts, apparently to take measurements, and, probably rushing, neglected to properly clean one of them. He was honest about what happened which I appreciated. When I put the contact in my eye I had excruciating pain. My eye was really bloodshot and I had to leave my contact out for 24 hours, while putting in antibiotic drops and was to phone him if my eye got worse. Fortunately, it didn’t. Would I go back again? NO.
